The robust Fox IV Standard Label Printer Applicator (LPA) range is reliable under heavy and prolonged use. The gear-driven design gives rugged, reliable performance when 24/7 service is critical and provides throughput up to twice as fast as other printers in its class.

Models in the 2010, 3010 and 4400 series are fully programmable, making them among the most versatile  label printer applicators on the market. They can scan, look up, then print and apply labels, plus use logic programming, without needing a PC on the production line. With programming, these printers can directly connect to barcode scanners, scales, keyboards and other peripheral devices. Databases and application-specific software can also reside in the printer applicator, which retain label formats after powering down.

These “smart machines”, with built-in intelligence, support a wide variety of barcodes, fonts and graphic formats.

Based on Intermec engines, these Fox IV series are easy to use. Standard communication includes USB and RS232, with options for wired or wireless Ethernet and remote printer monitoring from a standard web browser. E-mail notification of printer errors is easy to set up.

Label and ribbon paths screen-printed directly on the centre wall make changing labels and ribbons straightforward. Servicing is also straightforward with the unit’s easy-access cover and modular components. A single rugged, pressurised industrial housing encases the printer applicator, so it can cope with extreme dust, temperature and wash-down environments.

The FOX IV LPA 2010, 3010 and 4400 ranges have a precise Uniwall design, reducing tracking issues. Silk-screened media paths on the centre wall clearly show operators how to change ribbons and labels, shortening downtime, while swing-away cylinders give easy access. Dynamic rewind tension control and a positive-pressure cabinet.  These models are available in two body sizes which provide the option of a small compact foot print (for those tight spots on the production line) or a larger body size to cater for a large 400mm OD label roll to maximise the number of labels on a roll to maximise your production uptime.
