Solaris Lasers
There are two types of laser technologies available from Matthews, fibre YAG and CO2; each has different strengths, hence uses.
Producing vector-quality codes at high line speed, the versatile CO2 laser coder is ideal across a wide range of applications, being capable of both stationary and “on the fly” marking. The entry level eMark can code all mark types, including alphanumerical text, date codes, times, serial numbers, barcodes, 2D codes and graphics.
A strong stainless steel casing means this IP52-rated coder can work in corrosive environments, such as caustic cleaning agents in food plants. (An “Ingress Protection” rating of 52 means it’s protected from dust and dripping water.) Shock and temperature tested, an IP66-rated (NEMA 4) enclosure is available on request. Able to be wall mounted, the integration-friendly eMark laser coder can either run from a PC or be networked into a system.
An optional touch screen and keyboard allow operators to enter data on-line, giving more precise control and saving time (not needing to go back to the control room to change codes). Unauthorised-access protection is another useful feature. A host of options make this CO2 laser coding system highly flexible.
This is the economical entry level laser primarily used in food packaging applications. It is ideal for 1 to 2 lines of marking on PVC, PETE, glass, coated paper and laser sensitive coatings. Having no consumables makes it very economical to run.
CO2 Laser Coding and Marking
- e- Mark: This is the economical entry level laser primarily used in food packaging applications. It is ideal for 1 to 2 lines of marking on PVC, PETE, glass, coated paper and laser sensitive coatings.
- e- SolarMark: This is a high speed laser suited to Pharmaceutical, Beverage, Industrial & Food Packaging Applications.
- e- SolarMark Light: This is a solution for marking PETE plastics and achieve an opaque mark with Laser. It is ideal for high speed applications in Water & Soft drink manufacturing.
- e- SolarMark HD: This Laser is ideal for Laser marking in harsh dusty and washdown environments and has applications in high speed bottling plants and breweries.
