The Linx TT5 and TT10 Thermal Transfer Overprinter (TTO) series are designed for high quality coding onto flexible film packaging (flow wrap), labels or gloss card — efficiently, easily and with low ownership costs. They are particularly suited to product ID applications in the snackfood, confectionery and fresh produce sectors.
The TT5 uses a standard ribbon width (up to 55mm), so is particularly suitable for printing best before dates and batch codes. The Linx TT10, which uses a wider ribbon (up to 110mm) is perfect for printing wider messages such as ingredients lists, nutritional panels, logos and marketing information. The clutch-less ribbon drive on both models minimises ribbon breakage, while the cassette is easy to change — again saving you time.
The TTO series only leaves 0.5mm of a gap between messages on the ribbon, keeping your cost of ownership low. The TT5 also has one of the longest standard ribbons on the market (1000m), so you simply don’t have to change it as often.
Like the TT3, the colour touch-screen results in fewer errors, and has simple-to-follow instructions. Extensive on-board diagnostics packages have fault, warning and help messages to optimise factory floor productivity. They can also easily switch between intermittent and continuous printing modes; plus they have left or right-hand operation.
Both TTO printers have productivity-enhancing benefits that also aim to increase your profits. They’re easy to use, very flexible, give you increased production-line uptime and lower ownership costs.
