The Linx 7300 Spectrum continuous ink jet printer provides reliable operation, whilst delivering consistent high contrast coding with pigmented inks. It comes with the choice of high opacity inks to provide highly visible codes on coloured products. Its ink system and printhead are designed to minimise the need for maintenance, in continuous and batch production applications.

The Linx 7300 Spectrum was specifically designed to have the lowest running cost of continuous ink jet printers on the market. It does not need to be left switched on, and no need to drain before extended shutdowns – saving cost and time. It also has low solvent consumption without the need for mechanical ink stirrers or expensive factory air.

Like the standard Linx 7300, the Linx 7300 Spectrum has been fitted with added features to lower the cost of ownership further:

• 3 lines of print with an option to increase to 4 or 5 lines
• Longer service intervals (up to 6000 hours or 12 months)
• Mistake proof message selection, QuickSwitchTM
• USB message and printer backup and restore abilities
• Mistake proof refills with SureFillTM codes
• FullFlushTM , which is the only system that cleans through every pipe in the printhead and conduit, then vacuums them clear and dry
• Removal of dirt traps and brushed stainless steel finished to offer an easy clean enclosure

In addition, the Linx 7300 Spectrum has automatic ink mixing. Without the need for operator intervention, it delivers consistent code quality and contrast to minimise production downtime.
