How does iDSnet™ work?

By centralising control, iDSnet™ ensures that the correct code, such as a barcode, date code or batch code, is always placed on the correct product at the correct time. By networking all coding and labelling devices back to a central database, product changes are effected down an entire production line with one simple operator action.

Coding costs can include product recall, rework, lost production, wasted materials, and penalties from customers, as well as damage to your brand name. Where did iDSnet come from?

Matthews has offered complete coding, labelling and product traceability solutions to the Australian manufacturing and packaging industries for over 30 years. Over time, our customer-centric processes which create an ongoing feedback loop led us to discover a need in the market for a solution that integrates all the coding and labelling equipment. As a market leader Matthews has been involved in software development for over 20 years. However, recognising the increasing demands of our customers and the need for improved integration, Matthews set-up a dedicated and INHOUSE team in 2000 to develop a solution to fulfil the needs for an Australian packaging coding management system; iDSnet was born. iDSnet is fully owned, developed and supported by Matthews.
